Northgate Insurance Services in Peterlee is looking for an ambitious Team Manager to lead a motivated sales advisory team at our contact centre. You will coach, support and develop staff to deliver excellent customer outcomes and meet KPIs.

You will act as escalation point for diverse customers, maintain clear communication and fair outcomes in line with our values. The role combines people leadership with hands-on coaching in a fast-paced environment.

As a Team Manager, you will lead, support and develop a motivated team of sales advisors, helping them deliver excellent customer outcomes while achieving key performance goals. About you

We’re looking for someone who is confident leading people, passionate about delivering great customer service and able to create an environment where colleagues feel supported, engaged and motivated to perform at their best.

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring:

• At least 2 years’ experience working at a similar management level within a contact centre environment.
• A professional and pragmatic approach, with people at the heart of everything you do.
• A strong customer service ethos and the ability to make balanced decisions that support both customers and colleagues.
• The ability to lead, coach and develop a team, creating a positive culture where people feel involved and engaged.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ideally, experience within motor insurance, accident management or claims handling.
