Sales Team Leader
We are seeking a proven, results-driven sales professional with strong leadership skills to join the CEU Sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience in SME insurance.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead by example, aligning team performance with the strategic direction of CEU and the wider PIB business, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Drive the execution of new business plans and consistently meet sales targets through personal performance and by motivating and supporting the sales team.
- Ensure high standards of client service, focusing on meeting and exceeding client expectations.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities into long-term client relationships, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Coach and mentor team members, supporting their technical development in commercial insurance and professional capabilities.
- Lead initiatives to improve sales processes and operational efficiency for better client outcomes and workflow.
- Build and maintain relationships across departments and with external partners like underwriters to deliver tailored solutions.
- Stay updated on core insurance products and market developments to support client needs and guide the team.
- Ensure compliance with business processes and regulatory requirements, including accurate recording of client information and sales activity.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging team ownership of growth and career progression.
- Provide weekly sales performance updates to management, including key statistics and action plans.
- Identify training needs within the team and communicate them to the Line Manager for development support.
- Act as a liaison across departments to resolve issues and improve communication and collaboration.
