Job summary

Alfa Laval UK&I is offering 4 Sales Support Apprenticeships on an 18-month fixed-term contract at our Camberley head office. You will work towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification, attending Farnborough College of Technology one day every two weeks during working hours.

Role responsibilities include supporting customer service, sales, and business support across Food & Pharma, Energy and Ocean divisions, with duties such as order entry, handling queries, coordinating deliveries,

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and IT/admin proficiency.

• Customer-focused with problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Accurate entry of orders received via email and EDI; focus on Right First-Time accuracy.
• Manage and communicate with own customer base to maintain high service levels.
• Answer internal and external customer queries promptly and effectively.
• Monitor systems to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
• Coordinate with Service Operations to book engineers and uphold Health and Safety standards.
• Liaise with Manufacturing and Distribution to coordinate delivery.
• Resolve claims and build relationships with customers.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and manage open order backlog daily.
• Support sales teams, customer service, and shared services as needed.
