Sales Researcher & Lead Generation Executive

• Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire
• Working arrangement: Full-time, office-based

JM&Co. Recruitment is working with an award-winning British manufacturer, supplying innovative, high-quality products to some of the world's most prestigious brands across motorsport, luxury automotive, aerospace, engineering and other specialist industries.

With an established UK and international customer base and plans for continued growth, the business is looking to appoint a Sales Researcher & Lead Generation Executive to join its Brackley team. This is a full-time, office-based position, helping to identify new business opportunities and support its commercial team.

This is a research-led position rather than a traditional sales role. You'll be responsible for identifying potential customers, researching upcoming projects and making initial introductions, providing the sales team with opportunities to develop further.

What will the Sales Researcher & Lead Generation Executive be doing?

• Researching new business opportunities, potential customers and upcoming projects across a range of industries.
• Using specialist research platforms, industry databases and LinkedIn to identify prospects and key decision-makers.
• Monitoring tendering portals, reviewing relevant opportunities and tracking important deadlines.
• Managing tender-related information and providing associated administrative support.
• Making initial contact with prospective customers through email, LinkedIn and telephone.
• Supporting the Sales Director with prospect research and arranging introductory meetings ahead of UK customer visits.
• Working closely with the sales team to turn research and initial introductions into potential business opportunities.

Sales Researcher & Lead Generation Executive skills and experience?

We're looking for someone who is naturally inquisitive, enjoys researching businesses and has the confidence to approach prospective customers. You'll need to be organised, self-motivated and confident researching information using a range of online resources, with good communication skills and an eye for identifying commercial opportunities.

Experience in lead generation, recruitment resourcing, sales research or business development support would be beneficial, although we're equally interested to hear from people from other backgrounds who have similar skills and approach.
