About the Role
The Sales & Quotations Executive will play a key role in delivering a responsive and efficient service for customer enquiries, quotation preparation and technical coordination. The position will also be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of smaller customer accounts through a structured engagement programme. This role is designed to ensure customers receive timely support while enabling senior sales and technical teams to focus on strategic opportunities and larger, high-value accounts. The successful candidate will help maintain excellent customer relationships while identifying opportunities for growth within the existing client base.
Responsibilities
Quotations & Technical Coordination
- Act as the primary contact for customer quotation requests, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Prepare, issue and track quotations while liaising closely with the Technical Design team regarding specifications and technical requirements.
- Qualify and prioritise incoming enquiries before passing them to the Design team, reducing delays and improving efficiency.
- Manage the quotation process from initial request through to follow-up and closure for smaller accounts.
- Ensure all quotations are appropriately qualified, prioritised and commercially reviewed before issue.
- Maintain accurate records and audit trails of all quotation activity within the CRM system.
Account Management
- Manage a defined portfolio of smaller customer accounts through a structured contact programme.
- Conduct regular account reviews and proactive customer calls to maintain engagement and identify opportunities.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations to maximise conversion rates.
- Identify additional customer requirements and potential business opportunities.
- Promote the organisation's wider solutions and services through cross-selling and upselling activities.
- Support customer retention and contract renewal initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within the CRM platform.
Governance & Reporting
- Provide clear visibility of quotation activity, conversion rates and customer engagement through CRM reporting.
- Identify strategic or multi-site opportunities and refer these to senior account managers where appropriate.
- Monitor and report against agreed KPIs on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an internal sales, sales support or quotations-focused role.
- Experience within a technical, engineering, project-based or B2B environment would be advantageous.
- Experience managing structured customer engagement or account management activities.
- Comfortable working with technical teams to develop accurate and commercially viable quotations.
Required Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotations and customer accounts simultaneously.
- Confident communicator with excellent telephone, written and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to identify and prioritise genuine business opportunities.
- High level of attention to detail and CRM discipline.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively alongside technical and sales teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience within a technical, engineering, project-based or B2B environment would be advantageous.

- Location Information: Currently based in Beeston, with relocation to a new site near M1 Junction 27 planned for the end of 2026.
