Job summary

Confidential in Bishop's Stortford is seeking a confident and highly organised Sales Coordinator to join the sales department. You will monitor customer orders from entry to completion and delivery, acting as the customer's representative within the business.

You will work with the National Sales Manager and wider team, chasing information, coordinating with Purchasing and Planning, and ensuring departments communicate to meet delivery dates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in order processing or a similar role.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Confident and proactive personality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with people across a business.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer orders from entry through to completion and dispatch.
• Maintain an overview of current orders, deadlines and delivery dates.
• Liaise with National Sales Manager and sales team.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Planning to confirm materials and timescales.
• Chase departments for information and updates to keep orders moving.
• Provide accurate and timely progress information to the sales team.
• Escalate issues that may affect delivery dates.
• Develop strong cross-department relationships and own outstanding actions.
