Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious manufacturing client based in Normanton for Sales Order Processors to join their busy office team on a temporary contract running until Christmas.

As a Sales Order Processor you will process customer orders, handle enquiries and ensure accurate data entry on the internal CRM system. You will work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with rotating shifts and a focus on delivering precise customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales administration, order processing, or customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask and manage a busy workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process and allocate incoming customer enquiries and orders using the company CRM system.
• Accurately input and manage customer orders.
• Check orders thoroughly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate, resolve, and monitor order-related issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Produce reports and provide administrative support as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.

The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious manufacturing client based in Normanton for Sales Order Processors to join their busy office team on a temporary contract running until Christmas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing business, supporting the processing of customer orders and enquiries while ensuring a high level of accuracy and customer service.

Pay & Benefits

• £12.90 per hour for the first 12 weeks
• Increases to £13.23 per hour after 12 weeks
• 37.5 hours per week
• Weekly pay through The Best Connection

• Monday to Friday working pattern

Working Hours

Alternating weekly shifts:

• Week 1: 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Week 2: 8:00am - 4:00pm

The Role

As a Sales Order Processor, you will play a key role in managing customer enquiries and processing orders efficiently and accurately. Working within a busy administration team, you will ensure orders are correctly entered onto internal systems, monitor progress, resolve issues, and liaise with internal departments to provide excellent customer support.

This position would suit someone with previous sales administration or order processing experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
