Transaction Recruitment are supporting a market-leading business in Solihull in its search for an experienced Sales Order Administrator to join their commercial team on a permanent basis. You will be the main point of contact for getting customer orders accurately processed, from quotation through to invoicing, with a hybrid working arrangement.

You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement and Project teams internally, as well as customers and subcontractors externally, to build

Competenze

• Experience in order processing, sales administration or contract administration.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• SAP or similar ERP experience desirable.

Mansioni

• Process customer enquiries and prepare quotations using templates.
• Create and maintain sales orders from quotations and contracts; check pricing, terms and PO coverage.
• Raise purchase orders including those for subcontractors.
• Manage order amendments, cancellations and changes.
• Coordinate invoicing, credit notes and month-end activities.
• Investigate invoice queries and discrepancies; escalate as needed.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to keep orders moving and information accurate.
• Maintain accurate customer and commercial records; flag risks early.
• Carry out customer credit checks in line with guidelines.
