Job summary

Orion Electrotech in Cheltenham is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to support customers, prepare quotations, and manage orders from enquiry to delivery. You will coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and external sales colleagues to drive growth and deliver exceptional service.

The role offers hands-on project coordination, strong relationship building, and opportunities to identify new sales opportunities while maintaining credit control and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in internal sales, sales support, or customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience generating quotations and managing orders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel; ERP/NetSuite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Generate accurate, competitive, and commercially effective quotations.
• Identify customer requirements and provide sales support throughout the buying journey.
• Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, and customers to meet deadlines.
• Monitor and manage live projects using company systems.
• Work with external sales colleagues to develop and convert new business opportunities.
• Liaise with branch and warehouse teams regarding stock availability and lead times.
