Job summary

Sew-Eurodrive Ltd. is seeking a Sales Office Manager to lead the Midlands sales office, following the move to Bromsgrove. The role involves direct contact with customers by phone and email, and will supervise junior staff when recruited.

A hands-on manager with engineering know-how and strong MS Office skills is sought to drive quotes, orders and technical support. Training may be required at SEW headquarters in Germany or UK Head Office in Normanton.

Qualifications

• Engineering background and experience managing people.
• Strong customer liaison skills and excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; computer literacy essential.
• Motivated, organised, and able to work to deadlines in a busy office.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Prepare quotes and orders; handle technical enquiries for mechanical geared motor products.
• Oversee junior staff and office operations (stationery, petty cash).
• Provide technical advice and support to customers and colleagues.
• Engage with customers and coach junior staff as needed.
