Job summary

Concept Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager for the Midlands (Birmingham) to own and grow the Midlands territory. You will identify opportunities, open doors, develop relationships and win business, backed by an established European manufacturer and strong product range.

You will develop the Midlands in your own style, travel within Europe as needed, and participate in training at the Portugal head office.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience in industrial/engineering/technical environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong relationship-building.
• Willingness to travel in Europe and attend training in Portugal.

Sales Engineer

Location: Midlands (Birmingham)

Area Sales Manager – Midlands

Our client is looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Area Sales Manager to take ownership of their Midlands territory. This is an opportunity to build rather than inherit. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, opening doors, developing relationships and winning business.

You’ll have the backing of an established European manufacturer, a strong product range, competitive pricing, significant UK stock holding and an experienced team supporting you.

The Role

You’ll have the freedom and responsibility to develop the Midlands in your own way.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the chase, someone confident picking up the phone, getting in front of customers, asking the right questions and finding opportunities. You’ll also be responsible for strengthening existing relationships.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within an industrial, engineering or technical environment.
• A genuine new-business mentality.
• Confidence dealing with customers at all levels.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Commercial awareness and excellent communication.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive approach, being able to manage their own time.
• A full UK driving licence. A clean licence is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within Europe when required, including visits to our Head Office in Portugal for product training.
