Job description

SYR are working with a fantastic brand in the superyacht industry who are looking to appoint a Sales Manager.

Operating in the world of yacht coatings and paint, this exciting brand has enjoyed solid growth; however, it finds itself at a stage where the owner wishes to focus more on the operational aspect of the business and employ a commercial professional to generate new leads and business.

Reporting to the business owner, the role will include the following duties:

  • Representation of the business at shows and events globally
  • Building targets for business development and accurately tracking progress towards successful onboarding
  • Identification of new business opportunities
  • Collecting customer information to generate quotations
  • Data collection and input into the company CRM to track new business and progress towards closing
  • Being an ambassador for the business at all times
  • Driving and generating leads through social media content, both direct and indirect

The role suits an individual with experience and an existing network within the luxury yachting space, ideally at the level of new build or refit. A strong network of contacts will enable targeted lead generation and conversion.

Offering an autonomous role with extensive travel, the position allows growth in line with success, both financially and through developing a sales team as sales increase.

This is considered a remote role; however, the ability to travel easily within Europe without visa requirements is essential.
