Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a Product Sales Manager to drive sales of converting machinery to corrugated packaging markets across the UK and Europe. The role is based from home with extensive UK travel and periodic time in Europe, focusing on existing accounts initially and expanding into new business later.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in selling converting machinery to corrugated and carton markets, with a technical print background being advantageous.

• Sell the company’s complete range of converting machinery systems to the corrugated packaging and carton markets across the UK and Europe.
• Manage and develop existing UK accounts in year one and progressively develop new business in Europe (15% of time) in year two.

BASIC SALARY: up to £75,000

Location

LOCATION: This is a field sales role, based from home - you will be covering the whole of the UK (85% of time) and Europe (15% of time), so a central UK location would be ideal - or close to major UK airport.

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Cambridge, Nottingham.

Job Description

A classic Product Sales Manager role where you will be responsible for selling the companies complete range of converting machinery systems into the corrugated packaging and carton markets across the whole UK and then into Europe too. Your first year focus will be on the UK, managing and developing existing accounts with a very realistic and historically achievable target. In year two you will be expected to spend 15% of your time developing new business in Europe - spending 1 week every 2 months abroad.
