Job summary

Softcat plc is seeking a senior L&D professional to lead the Sales Learning & Development agenda, partnering with senior sales stakeholders to design, deliver and embed capability-building activity that boosts sales performance and employee development.

You will drive transformation projects, build a Sales academy, modernise early career development programmes and ensure adoption across the Sales organisation.

Qualifications

Experience in L&D or Sales capability or business partnering.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Experience leading transformation projects from discovery to implementation.
Ability to balance formal learning with on‑the‑job learning and coaching.

Responsibilities

Act as strategic lead for Sales L&D, owning the learning roadmap and aligning activity to the Sales and L&D strategies.
Lead transformation projects in flight, including sales capability initiatives and the build of an academy.
Translate commercial priorities into practical learning solutions and ensure adoption and measurable outcomes.
Partner with Sales leaders and cross‑functional teams to create joined‑up development experiences.
