Job summary

Softcat is seeking a Learning & Development Manager - Sales to partner with senior sales leaders to design, deliver and embed capability-building initiatives that raise sales performance and manager effectiveness.

This role reports to the Head of Learning & Development and supports transformation projects across the Sales function, including a sales academy and modernising early career development programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in L&D or sales capability roles.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience leading transformation projects from discovery to evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Act as strategic lead for Sales L&D, owning the learning roadmap and aligning to Sales and L&D strategies.
• Lead transformation projects within Sales, including a sales academy and modernising early career development programmes.
• Translate commercial priorities into practical learning solutions and ensure adoption of new tools like CRM.
• Collaborate with Sales leaders, People Partners, Enablement teams, IT, and external providers.
