Job summary

Portakabin Ltd in Manchester (Trafford Park) seeks a Sales Executive to drive sales and order-winning activities by promoting Portakabin products and services. You will execute commercial administration, support business development, and ensure timely quotations and payments.

The role requires administrative and customer-service experience, target-driven activity, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office. Interviews are held during the week commencing TBC.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a customer service environment.
• Experience in a target driven environment.
• Experience of business development activities e.g. inbound or outbound calling.
• Minimum GCSE or Equivalent level of education including Maths and English.
• Competent in using Microsoft packages including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of SAP (or similar systems).

Responsibilities

• Execute all commercial administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to drive order targets at agreed margins.
• Support onboarding and provide on-the-job training for new team members as required.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly and escalate to improve processes.
• Prioritise customer service to maximise satisfaction and continuity of service.
• Collaborate with colleagues to confirm stock availability and refurb details.
• Collaborate to expedite collection of outstanding customer payments.
• Maintain relationships and respond to administrative queries in systems.
• Prepare quotations and follow up with customers on time.
• Respond to customer enquiries within agreed SLA timelines.
