Job summary

Portakabin Ltd in Trafford Park, Manchester, is seeking a Sales Executive to drive sales and win orders by actively promoting Portakabin products and services. You will support cross‑team collaboration and deliver high‑quality administrative support.

The role requires a proactive customer‑facing approach, experience in a target‑driven environment, and competence with MS Office and SAP. You will help with stock, invoicing and payments while contributing to business development and service

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a customer service environment.
• Experience in a target driven environment.
• Experience of business development activities e.g. inbound or outbound calling activity
• Minimum GCSE or Equivalent level of education including Maths and English.
• Competent in using Microsoft packages including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of SAP (or similar systems).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and achieve order targets at margins.
• Collaborate with teams to provide business development and admin support.
• Support onboarding and training for new team members.
• Identify and resolve issues to improve processes and share learning.
• Prioritise customer service to maximise satisfaction and continuity of service.
• Collaborate to confirm stock availability and refurbishment details.
• Expedite collection of outstanding customer payments.
• Maintain accurate customer information and stock records.
• Prepare and follow up quotations in a timely manner.
• Respond to customer enquiries within agreed SLA timelines.
