Job summary

Portakabin Ltd is seeking a Sales Executive for the Trafford Park area to drive sales and support order-winning activities. You will promote Portakabin products, manage quotations, and collaborate across teams to ensure stock, invoicing, and collections run smoothly.

The role includes onboarding new team members and maintaining customer relationships. The position requires administrative experience in a customer service environment, a target-driven mindset, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a customer service environment.
• Experience in a target-driven environment.
• Experience in business development activities such as inbound or outbound calling.
• GCSE or equivalent including Maths and English.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute all commercial administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members across teams to provide business development, commercial and administrative support to achieve order targets at margins.
• Support onboarding and provide on-the-job training for new team members.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly and escalate for process improvement.
• Prioritise customer service to maximise satisfaction and continuity of service for future orders.
• Collaborate to confirm stock availability, refurbishment and fit-out details.
• Collaborate to expedite collection of outstanding customer payments.
• Maintain relationships and respond to administrative queries in systems.
• Prepare quotations and follow up with customers on time.
• Respond to customer enquiries within SLA timelines.
• Maintain accurate customer information in internal systems.
• Keep stock records updated and accurate.
• Meet customer cash collection targets.
