Job summary

Graham Heath Construction is seeking a Sales Executive to join its growing sales team in Nantwich. The role focuses on handling customer enquiries, following up quotations, developing your own pipeline and driving sales from enquiry through to completion.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be confident speaking with customers over the phone and face-to-face, and thrive in a target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate.
• Experience within the construction, steelwork or agricultural industry would be highly advantageous.
• Proactive, self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
• Confident speaking with customers both over the phone and face-to-face.
• A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and confident with a good telephone manner.
• Organised, commercially aware and able to manage your own workload.
• Comfortable working to targets, KPIs and tight deadlines.
• Able to remain calm and focused in a busy, fast-paced sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow up existing quotations and tenders to generate additional business.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming enquiries via telephone, email and online platforms.
• Prepare and provide accurate quotations, pricing and product information to customers and potential customers.
• Manage your own customer accounts, sales pipeline and opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions, quotations and sales activity.
• Work towards agreed sales targets, KPIs and deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to generate new business and maximise sales.
• Work closely with the wider sales and marketing teams to support business development.
• Attend regular sales and marketing meetings.
• Attend occasional customer meetings and site visits when required.
