Job summary

Portakabin Ltd. is seeking a Sales Executive to join the team in Manchester (Trafford Park). You will drive sales, promote Portakabin products, and provide commercial support to meet order targets while maintaining service excellence.

The role requires administrative experience in a customer service environment, a proven track record in target-driven roles, and familiarity with MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint and SAP. Interviews are planned soon.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a customer service environment.
• Experience in a target-driven environment.
• Experience of business development activities e.g. inbound or outbound calling.
• Minimum GCSE or Equivalent level including Maths and English.
• Competent in using Microsoft packages including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of SAP (or similar systems).

Responsibilities

• Execute all commercial administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to provide business development, commercial and administrative support to achieve order targets.
• Support onboarding and provide on-the-job training for new team members.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly, escalating where necessary to improve processes.
• Prioritise customer service to maximise satisfaction and ensure continuity of service for future opportunities.
• Collaborate to confirm stock availability, refurbishment and fit out details.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to expedite collection of outstanding payments.
• Maintain relationships across teams and respond to inquiries through communication channels.
• Prepare quotations accurately and follow up with customers on time.
• Respond to customer enquiries promptly within SLA timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date customer information in internal systems.
• Keep stock records accurate and updated.
• Meet customer cash collection targets through timely payments.
• Conduct structured business development campaigns to meet order targets.
