Job summary

Sinclair Group is recruiting a driven Sales Executive to join the BYD team in Cardiff. You will guide customers from enquiry to delivery, showcasing electric and hybrid vehicles and helping customers transition to the latest automotive technology.

Key responsibilities include handling inquiries, demos, test drives, follow-ups, and promoting finance; you will build long-term relationships, hit sales targets, and maintain CRM records while staying knowledgeable about BYD offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, ideally within the motor industry.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer enquiries both in person and online.
• Identifying customer needs and recommending the right vehicle solution.
• Conducting professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Following up leads and maximising sales opportunities.
• Promoting finance, insurance and additional products.
• Building long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Achieving individual and team sales targets.
• Maintaining accurate customer records using CRM systems.
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience at every stage of the sales journey.
• Maintaining excellent product knowledge across the BYD range.
• Working with and supporting a small sales team.

Location: BYD Cardiff

Salary: £20,000 Basic Salary with Uncapped OTE Plus Car Allowance

Hours of work: 5 days a week - our showroom opening hours are 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 8.30am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm. Late nights and weekends on a rota basis.
