Job summary

Octane Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run automotive retailer for a Sales Executive in the Gatwick area. The role involves guiding customers through the full vehicle sales process, conducting demonstrations and test drives, and building lasting customer relationships.

The successful candidate will have automotive sales experience or a proven background in high-value sales, with strong communication and negotiation skills and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through the complete vehicle sales process from initial enquiry to handover.
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Follow up sales leads and prospect for new business.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Accurately appraise part-exchange vehicles and support the valuation process.
• Promote suitable finance, insurance and additional products.
• Complete sales administration accurately and ensure FCA and dealership procedures are followed.

We are recruiting for a Sales Executive, Car Sales Executive, Vehicle Sales Executive or Automotive Sales Executive to join a successful main dealership in Gatwick. Applicants must have previous automotive sales experience or a proven background in retail or high-value sales and hold a Full UK Driving Licence with the right to work in the UK.

Location: Gatwick

Salary: £22,500 basic + Bonus | OTE: £60,000

Hours: Monday to Saturday with a day off during the week, plus Sundays on a rota
