Our client is a provider of adhesives and sealants to a multitude of industries and are now seeking a driven professional with the opportunity to progress within a growing company. BASIC SALARY: £30,000 per annum

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Executive, Merchandiser, Sales Support – Sealant and Adhesives

As our Sales Support / Merchandiser you will be the face of the market leading brand reporting to the Regional Sales Manager who is based in central Scotland. A field-based role, you will be responsible for the journey of our market leading products from delivery to the store to the point of sale. Our distributors vary in size and location, and you will be responsible for setting up displays, stock counts, and marketing POS. Building relationships with the retailer is key; training staff on our products enabling them to share their product knowledge with customers to maximise sales.

Your main responsibilities as a Sales Support/ Merchandiser will be:
· Managing and nurturing the relationships with retailers; Business to Business
· Installing and maintaining product displays and points of sale
· Representing the business at sales events and trade shows
· Training staff where our products are stocked across Scotland

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Executive, Merchandiser, Sales Support – Sealant and Adhesives

Attitude, drive to succeed and enthusiasm to learn are paramount to us and will trump any experience. We are also very keen to see ambition to grow within the company. Previous experience within the construction, building merchant, adhesives and sealants sectors is all beneficial, but we have comprehensive training that will provide you with all the product knowledge you will need. Maybe you sell products within the construction, plumbing, marine or automotive sectors already?

Either way as our Sales Support / Merchandiser you will:
· Be confident working with both independent and national retailers / distributors
· Have a full driving licence enjoying being out in the field
· Have a positive, efficient approach to your day maximising your time to visit our customers.
· Be confident in your communication style with excellent interpersonal skills
· Be able to demonstrate working within a successful team
· Confident with the Microsoft Office Suite
