Job summary

Anton Paar, a world leader in laboratory instrumentation, seeks a Sales Engineer for the North UK to cover high-volume products including viscometry, density and refractive index instruments. You will drive new business and support existing customers across the territory.

Based in the North, you will travel to customer sites, give demonstrations, train users and collaborate with an international team. A degree in chemistry or physics and proven sales in analytical instruments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry, physics or related discipline.
• Experience in selling analytical instruments is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate with scientists and engineers.
• Willingness to travel across the territory and occasionally overseas for training.

Responsibilities

• Generate new accounts and manage existing customers through prospecting and follow-up.
• Manage territories across a broad base of industries and applications.
• Negotiate sales and handle projects from start to finish.
• Support development of customer applications and marketing communications.
• Visit customer sites to present, demonstrate instruments and train users.
