Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative

Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative required for an established engineering company supplying CNC machinery and other capital equipment.

The successful Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative will provide product advice and manage the sales process including generating quotations, processing orders, raising purchase orders and invoices, documentation, proposals and other aspects of sales support for CNC machines and other capital equipment.

This is an entry level position, ideal for candidates with an Engineering degree and / or experience selling engineering products. Applicants should ideally be located within a commutable distance of the office just outside of Birmingham.

• £25,000-£30,000 (Dependant on experience)

The Role

• Convert incoming technical enquiries into sales
• Deliver product demonstrations at the company’s on-site showroom
• Prepare quotations and proposals
• Build relationships with new and existing clients across engineering and manufacturing sectors
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
• Maintain activity records using CRM tools and contribute to monthly sales targets
• Commutable to office just outside of Birmingham

Requirements

• An Engineering degree and / or experience as an Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative, or in a similar Engineering sales role
• Full product training is provided
