Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking a UK-focused Sales Engineer to be the technical resource for our field sales force. You will drive technical evaluation, deliver product demonstrations, and articulate our cloud-native security platform to both business and technical users.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to address RFIs/RFPs, validate requirements, and travel across the UK to meet customers and events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience in network or cloud security.
• Proven track record in software sales.
• Strong networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, switching, routing.
• Experience with security technologies such as firewalls and filtering.
• Cloud proficiency with exposure to AI/AI security preferred.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Organised, analytical, creative and adaptable in problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations.
• Present the product to customers and at field events.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs.

We are looking for a UK focused Sales Engineer to be a technical resource for Cato Network's field sales force. In this role, you will actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our solutions. You should be skilled at building relationships and explaining technology and product positioning to both business and technical users as well as passionate about understanding technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of Pre-Sales or Consulting experience working with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role
• Proven track record in software sales
• Comprehensive understanding of networking technology, including:
• LAN and WAN technologies
• Switching and routing
• Security (Firewalls and Filtering technologies)
• Cloud
• Exposure to AI/AI Security technologies preferred
• Strong presentation skills and written communication in emails, RFPs, and reports
• Organised, analytical, creative and adaptive in approach and finding solutions
