MPI has a requirement for a Sales Director to work on-site at East Midlands Airport. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Hours: 40 hours per week - flexibility may be required to meet business needs. Rate of pay: Dependent on experience, to be discussed during application.

About the Role

Reporting to the MD, the Sales Director will identify new business opportunities within the UK and European markets, develop and maintain existing client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the business.

Successful Candidate: must be able to sell the C Check Hanger Space to clients for aircraft servicing.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sales & Commercial department, aligning with the company's strategic goals.
  • Develop action plans to identify, target, and secure new business.
  • Analyze statistics to assess business growth potential.
  • Maintain and improve relationships with existing clients.
  • Create a strategic marketing plan for the company.
  • Coordinate sales operations with other departments/divisions.
  • Stay updated on market trends and new developments for business improvement.
  • Proactively develop and enhance products and services.
  • Promote the clients' narrow-body aircraft MRO at EMA.
Qualifications
Required Skills
  • Proven sales experience in Aviation.
  • Strong understanding of airline maintenance requirements to grow the business.
  • Good knowledge of costing processes.
  • Knowledge of MRO structures and commercial contracts.
  • Excellent and engaging communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and drive business performance.
