Job summary

Pertemps Bond is hiring a Sales Development Executive in an office-based role in Telford. You will conduct regular outbound telephone and email outreach to public sector managers and manufacturers, with a consultative discovery approach to identify opportunities and hand over to the Business Development Manager for closing.

Salary starts at £28,000–£32,000 basic with bonuses and commission on qualified meetings and deals, plus a progression path to a Business Development Executive.

Qualifications

• Existing B2B outbound sales experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to reach decision makers.
• Ambition to progress into business development.
• Resilience and organizational skills for outbound activity.

Responsibilities

• Research organisations, identify decision makers and navigate gatekeepers professionally.
• Explore current locking arrangements, maintenance challenges and upcoming projects.
• Establish a specific need, stakeholders and purpose before booking a meeting.
• Record accurate discovery notes, contact details and actions in HubSpot.
• Send relevant information and manage follow-up with prospects not yet ready for a meeting.
• Work with business development and marketing to improve outreach and lead quality.
