Job summary

Confidential in Birmingham is seeking Sales and Customer Service assistants for temporary to permanent positions. You will handle customer calls, manage orders, and liaise with warehouse staff to ensure stock accuracy, while performing data entry and email correspondence.

Hours are 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, with alternating Saturday shifts when permanent. Starting salary is £12.71 per hour (£29,740.40 per year), with overtime available once permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or call handling.
• Strong data entry and admin support skills.
• Clear communication and be able to handle inquiries.
• Ability to work with warehouses and logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Speak to customers both inbound and outbound to provide a positive service experience.
• Handle approximately 50 inbound calls per day.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure stock accuracy.
• Check deliveries and follow up on order requirements and shortages.
• Perform general admin and data entry, including replying to customer emails.
