Wolseley UK Limited, via Plumb Centre, is recruiting for a Sales Assistant at the Blackpool branch. The role focuses on counter-based customer service, product recommendations, and handling inquiries to secure sales.

You will also perform light warehouse duties, including stock checks and order picking, with a 40-hour week schedule and occasional Saturday mornings. The company emphasizes training, benefits, and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in face-to-face sales and customer service.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• Making outbound phone calls to previous customers to regain their business.
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets.
