Job summary

Plumb Centre in Wrexham, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Sales Assistant to support trade customers with climate control products and expert advice on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, accessories and spares.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week), with Mon-Fri 07:30–17:00 and Saturday mornings on a rota, offering a salary of £26,695 plus bonus and excellent benefits such as annual leave, pension, discounts, and health perks.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their needs for climate control products and giving advice on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and spares.
• Responding to quotes via phone and email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging new and existing customers.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system, putting it away, and picking/packing orders.

As a Sales Assistant based in our Wrexham branch you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs for all things climate control and providing advice and product recommendations e.g. air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, accessories and spares
• Responding to customer enquiries for quotes via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system and putting it away and picking and packing customer orders

This is a full time time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm and Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.
