Job summary

The Yorkshire Trading Company in Ripon is recruiting five sales assistants for our store. The role is 16 hours per week over 4 days, including weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings. You will deliver high levels of customer service, keep the store in excellent condition and up-to-date with stock and merchandising.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience with EPOS till systems.
• Stock management and visual merchandising knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a fully stocked store.
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants.
• Welcome and greet customers.
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given.
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries.
• Keep up to date with product information.
• Accurately describe product features and benefits.
• Follow all companies policies and procedures.
