Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company in York is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant to support a busy store. 16 hours over 4 days, rota-based including weekends and some early mornings.

The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while driving sales growth and maintaining store standards. You will greet customers, help them find products, process sales on the Epos till, and assist with deliveries and stock.

Qualifications

• Provide high levels of customer service and sales advice.
• Ensure accurate product knowledge and upsell where appropriate.
• Keep the store clean, well-stocked and visually appealing.

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional recruit to the sales assistant team in our store at York.

The position offered is: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings.

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company's growth and revenue through sales maximisation.
