Job summary

The Yorkshire Trading Company is hiring a part-time Sales Assistant for our Selby store. The role is 16 hours over 4 days, including weekends on a rota basis and may include early mornings.

You will help deliver high levels of customer service and drive sales through knowledgeable product advice. Responsibilities include maintaining store standards, stocking products, and processing sales on the EPOS till system.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to work on a rota and weekends.
• Flexible for early mornings and 16 hours over 4 days.

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional recruit to the sales assistant team in our store at Selby.

The position offered is: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company's growth and revenue through sales maximisation

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
