Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited in Maidstone is seeking a Sales Assistant at our Climate Centre to help trade customers with product recommendations and orders. You will handle phone and email enquiries, assist with general office duties, and support warehouse tasks as needed.

Sales Assistant - Maidstone - Climate Centre

As a Sales Assistant based in our Maidstone branch, you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously with a proactive attitude, along with general office duties.
• Completing general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders, putting away deliveries, and merchandising displays to a high standard.

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 17:00 pm.

• Technical knowledge on Climate products or merchant experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Sales or customer service experience
• Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
