Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited's Plumb Centre in Evesham is seeking a Sales Assistant for a full-time role (40 hours). Monday to Friday 07:30–17:00 with Saturday rota overtime.

You will build relationships with customers at the trade counter and by phone, providing friendly product advice and preparing quotations. You will identify opportunities to grow branch sales and may drive a Light Commercial Vehicle to deliver orders, requiring a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence.

This is a full time, 40 hour permanent role - Monday to Friday between 07:30am - 17:00pm. Saturday working on a rota basis, 8am to 12pm, paid as overtime.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers at the trade counter and over the phone.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable product advice and prepare quotations.
• Identify opportunities to grow branch sales.
• Driving a Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV - up to 3.5t) to deliver orders directly to our customers and their sites.

Requirements

• Full UK Manual Driving licences essential.
• Previous customer facing experience.
• A confident, positive and approachable attitude.
• A genuine passion for providing great customer service.
• The enthusiasm to work as part of a team and support colleagues in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
