Job summary

IKEA Belfast is seeking Sales Assistants to join our friendly team. You will help customers find inspiration and solutions for their homes, maintain attractive and well-stocked areas, and ensure the store is welcoming at all times.

You will contribute to a positive shopping experience, share product knowledge, replenish stock, and create inspiring room settings while supporting sales and store presentation. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and flexible contracts.

Qualifications

• You are skilled at front-line customer service and helping shoppers find solutions.
• Experience aiding customers with product information and store layout is beneficial.
• Ability to replenish stock and maintain neat, inviting displays.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude.

IKEA Belfast are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our delightful and friendly team.

As a Sales co-worker, you'll support customers by helping them find inspiration and solutions for their homes, maintain attractive and well-stocked areas, and ensure the store is always ready to welcome visitors. Depending on the department, this could involve sharing product knowledge, assisting customers with purchases, replenishing stock, creating inspiring room settings, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Whether you're helping a customer design their dream bedroom, choose products for their kitchen and dining space, refresh their home with textiles, or find the perfect decorative touches, you'll play an important role in bringing the IKEA experience to life.

WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will be 4th October
• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
• 12 to 24 hour contracts

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
• You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design
• You support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
