IKEA Cardiff is seeking Sales Assistants to welcome customers, offer product advice and help keep the store looking its best. This busy role suits people who enjoy working with others and delivering reliable customer service.

You will contribute to a welcoming shopping experience, be comfortable with digital tools, and demonstrate a customer-first mindset while working on a flexible part-time pattern including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-moving, customer-facing environment is advantageous.
• Confident using computers and digital tools, with ability to pick up IKEA systems and processes quickly.

• You take initiative, make informed choices, and stay on top of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide an inspirational shopping experience by approaching customers to identify needs and advising on solutions.

• Keep your area clean, fully stocked, priced, well-presented and easy to shop.
• Provide manual handling and safe lifting of stock as required.
• Support the sales team to ensure high standards of service during busy periods.

WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will be: 27th September 2026
• Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 per hour.
• 12, 20 & 24 hours per week contracts, working 3, 4 or 5 days per week (dependant on contract size), working 3 out of 4 weekends per month.
• Evening availability until 9.00pm is essential.
