Sales and Marketing Director – Marine Retail & E-Commerce
| Full-Time | Permanent | Hybrid Working Available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Sales and Marketing Director to take the lead in a well-established and growing marine retail and e-commerce business. This is a senior leadership role with full strategic and operational responsibility for driving sales, improving profitability, and guiding the business through its next stage of growth.

The Role Reporting directly to the business owners, you’ll oversee all aspects of sales and marketing across a multi-site retail operation and online store.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy
• Lead retail and e-commerce operations to achieve commercial targets
• Plan and manage the company’s presence at industry events and boat shows
• Oversee product range development and new market opportunities
• Manage and grow the brand’s digital marketing presence
• Build a management structure to support growth and future planning
• Lead, mentor and support staff across multiple locations
• Monitor KPIs and report on key performance data
• Develop strong partnerships with marinas and other key stakeholders

About You We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will bring:

• Proven experience in a senior Sales, Commercial or Marketing leadership role
• Background in retail, e-commerce or marine-related sectors
• Track record of growing sales and profitability in a hands-on environment
• Strong leadership and team development skills across multiple sites
• Sound understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce platforms
• Commercial acumen and budget management experience
• Knowledge of or passion for the marine sector preferred
• Flexible and proactive approach, with high levels of initiative

Location & Working Pattern

• Based in Swanwick, Hampshire
• Regular travel to retail sites across Hampshire (Gosport, Lymington)
• Some hybrid working available depending on operational needs
