Qualifications

Since its inception, Shiko Group has demonstrated consistent growth and strategic expansion, now operating eight flagship venues across Manchester and Leeds — including Side Street, Courts Club, The Lawn Club, The Dome, The Stables, and Foley’s in Manchester, as well as Fearns and The Canary in Leeds.

Committed to delivering unique venues and exceptional experiences, Shiko Group maintains a dedicated Sales and Marketing team of 10 professionals, with plans for further expansion in alignment with upcoming venue launches.

You will be responsible for proactively driving sales and lead conversion, ensuring smooth execution of events from start to finish, and building long-term relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing booking platforms including Design My Night and other third-party platforms
  • Ensuring successful and organised coordination of all venue bookings, parties, and events.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and third party suppliers.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and decor.
  • Work closely with the operational teams to ensure the smooth running and management of each confirmed booking.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction

Skills we’re looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of both inbound and outbound sales
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • A self-starter with a hands-on approach, comfortable in a growing business.
  • Experience in planning, organising, and executing a variety of events, including corporate events, and social gatherings.
