Are you a natural organiser with a flair for sales and a passion for creating standout experiences?

We're looking for a confident, proactive Sales and Events Coordinator to join a leading and renowned venue to deliver exceptional events and build lasting client relationships.

This is a varied, people-focused role where you'll take ownership of event enquiries from start to finish, converting leads into bookings, fine-tuning the details, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for clients, helping them shape their events while working closely with internal teams and suppliers to bring everything together seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities for this Sales and Events Coordinator Role:

  • Handling incoming enquiries across multiple platforms and responding quickly with tailored, professional proposals
  • Guiding clients through the booking process, offering expert advice on space usage, packages, and pricing
  • Hosting show rounds and representing the venue at networking events, exhibitions, and familiarisation visits
  • Finalising event details with clients, including catering, AV, equipment, room layouts, and special requests
  • Preparing detailed function sheets, checklists, and schedules
  • Coordinating with suppliers, managing booking tools and systems, and keeping accurate records of each event
  • Looking for upselling opportunities and supporting the wider team in meeting revenue targets
  • Being onsite where needed to oversee event delivery and ensure a smooth client experience from start to finish
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring feedback is gathered and acted upon to drive improvements

What They're Looking For:

  • Experience working in events, hospitality, or conference venues, ideally 2+ years in a sales or coordination role
  • A confident communicator with excellent client-facing skills and a calm, solution-focused approach
  • Comfortable managing multiple bookings, working to deadlines, and staying organised under pressure
  • Familiar with CRM systems, booking platforms, and standard office software
  • Someone with great attention to detail, commercial awareness, and a genuine passion for people and events
