We have a fantastic opening for an Event Manager to work across two of the UK's top 10 arenas, hosting over 200 events annually and welcoming 1.5 million fans. Based in Birmingham City Centre and on the NEC Campus in Solihull, you'll be part of a team that hosts a wide variety of events, from concerts and comedy shows to sporting and family events—no two days are the same!

About The Role

This role involves planning and delivering a variety of concerts and events within the arenas, along with managing other event-related projects as needed. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Delivering live events by interpreting client requirements in accordance with the Arenas Policies and Procedures.
• Producing event schedules for clients and internal departments, liaising with and directing internal service teams, and assisting with administrative tasks related to events.
• Undertaking Duty Manager and Load-in Manager roles as required.

About You

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have experience managing a variety of events and the ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Understand fire, incident, emergency, evacuation, and crowd management plans for arenas, along with Venue Rules & Regulations.
• Possess basic logistics and technical knowledge.
• Be aware of health and safety requirements for arena events.
• Be capable of developing productive relationships with colleagues, industry peers, and clients.
