Job summary

Saltrock is seeking a Sales Advisor on a 16 hour contract to join our Retail team. You will work with an energetic group, delivering excellent customer experiences on the shop floor and processing sales with care.

We value a warm, friendly attitude, strong product knowledge, and enthusiasm for visual merchandising. Duties include till operations, stock checks, merchandising support, and occasional keyholder responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to drive sales while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising to present products attractively.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to reach sales targets by promoting Saltrock products.
• Process sales transactions with care and accuracy at tills.
• Maintain a clean, inviting store environment and high housekeeping standards.
• Feed customers with product information, features and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns/price changes within agreed timelines.
• Keep product tidy and replenished; support merchandising as needed.
• Support merchandising with guidelines and participate in deliveries.
• Role includes keyholder responsibilities and reporting to Store Manager.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales
  targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while
  processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive
  experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard
  the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our
  customers with information about our product including features and benefits
  and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy
  and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with
  our guidelines
• Process deliveries
  Keyholder responsibilities

What you will bring on the journey

• A passion for selling and interacting with customers
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/card handling
• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential
