Job summary

Saltrock in Gloucester is seeking a Sales Advisor to join our retail team on an 8-hour contract and help deliver an engaging in-store experience. You will work with an energetic team to connect with customers, showcase products and ensure a friendly, welcoming environment.

You will support achieving sales targets, handle till operations, maintain store presentation, and assist with merchandising and deliveries. Uniform allowance and a 50% discount on Saltrock products are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential.
• Ability to process sales transactions with care and accuracy.
• Comfortable with till operations and handling cash/card payments.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions and help achieve sales targets.
• Create a welcoming store environment with excellent customer service.
• Maintain store housekeeping to a high standard for health and safety.
• Provide product information including features and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep products tidy, replenished and merchandised.
• Assist with merchandising under guidelines.
• Process deliveries.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries
