Job summary

Saltrock Braunton is looking for a Sales Advisor to join our retail team on a 4-hour contract, based in North Devon. You’ll engage with customers, process sales, and help deliver an outstanding in-store experience.

You’ll work with an energetic team to maintain great merchandising, handle till operations, stock replenishment, and assist with deliveries and price changes. We offer holiday entitlement, uniform allowance, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail and customer service preferred.
• Ability to feed customers with product information and stock availability.
• Support merchandising and maintain store cleanliness.
• Able to process sales transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets with a passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience, creating an inviting atmosphere.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for a healthy, safe store.
• Provide information about product features, benefits and stock availability.
• Assist with markdown/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy, presentable and replenished as needed.
• Support merchandising following guidelines and assist with deliveries.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You'll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with our culture
• A passion for selling and interacting with customers
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/card handling
• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential
