Job summary

Saltrock Lymington is seeking a Sales Advisor on a 16 hour contract to join our coastal lifestyle team and help deliver an excellent in-store experience for customers.

You will work with an energetic retail team, demonstrate passion for our product, and actively contribute to meeting sales targets while ensuring a welcoming store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while delivering friendly customer service.
• Experience with till operations and cash/card handling.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising and store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions.
• Create a welcoming store environment with a positive customer experience.
• Maintain store housekeeping to a high standard for a healthy, safe store.
• Provide product information including features and stock availability.
• Assist with markdown/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy and replenish as needed; assist with merchandising per guidelines.
• Process deliveries; perform keyholder responsibilities.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries
  Keyholder responsibilities

What you will bring on the journey

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with our culture
• A passion for selling and interacting with customers
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/card handling
• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential
