Job summary

Saltrock Exeter is seeking a Sales Advisor for a 20 hour contract to join our Retail team in Topsham. You will engage with customers, drive sales and deliver a positive in-store experience while upholding brand standards.

You will work with a friendly team, demonstrate product knowledge, handle till operations, and support merchandising and stock management. Uniform allowance and 50% discount on Saltrock products are offered; holiday entitlement is pro-rata for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail would be desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer service and sales focus is required.
• Ability to handle till operations and cash/card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand.
• Provide a welcoming store experience for customers.
• Maintain store housekeeping to high standards for safety and presentation.
• Provide product information, features, benefits and stock availability to customers.
• Assist with markdowns/price changes within agreed timescales.
• Keep product tidy and replenished as needed.
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines.
• Process deliveries and take on keyholder responsibilities.

Job Description

A brilliant opportunity to work within our Retail team. You’ll work alongside an energetic team, who are passionate about our product and engaging with our customers delivering an excellent experience for them while they are in store.

Role

• Helping to achieve sales targets by demonstrating a passion for the product and the brand while processing sales transactions with care
• Ensuring customers have a positive experience within our store making it an inviting and welcoming atmosphere.
• Keeping housekeeping to a high standard the outcome being a healthy and safe store
• Be able to feed our customers with information about our product including features and benefits and stock availability
• Help implement any markdown/price alterations within agreed timescales
• Keeping our product tidy and presentable and replenish as needed
• Support when requested with merchandising product in conjunction with our guidelines
• Process deliveries

• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising
• Competent at till operations and Cash/card handling
