Job summary

Anne Corder Recruitment is partnering with a well-established business near Duxford to hire a Sales Advisor. This office-based role starts with customer service and order processing, with full training to prepare quotations for an established customer base.

You will work with the Estimating Manager and sales team, handling orders by phone/email, coordinating with warehouses and couriers, and building product knowledge to support cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales support or order processing.
• Confident speaking with customers by telephone.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders received by telephone and email.
• Provide professional telephone-based customer service.
• Monitor online customer orders and communicate with warehouse.
• Liaise with couriers regarding deliveries.
• Respond to customer queries and provide product information.
• Develop product knowledge through training.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Prepare accurate quotations once trained.
• Follow up outstanding quotations and enquiries.
• Keep customer records and quotation activity up to date.
• Support wider sales team with inbound/outbound calls.
• Arrange product samples and conduct product research as required.
