Job summary

Anne Corder Recruitment is partnering with a well-established business near Duxford to hire a Sales Advisor. This office-based role starts with customer service and order processing, with full training to prepare quotations for an established customer base.

You will work with the Estimating Manager and sales team, handling orders by phone/email, coordinating with warehouses and couriers, and building product knowledge to support cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities

Sales Advisor

Are you experienced in customer service, sales support or order processing and looking for a role where you can develop your commercial sales skills further?

We are recruiting for a Sales Advisor to join a well-established business based near Duxford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, supportive office-based sales team, where you will initially focus on customer service and order processing before being fully trained to prepare quotations and estimates for an established customer base.

The role

Working closely with the Estimating Manager and wider sales team, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing customer orders received by telephone and email
• Providing professional and helpful telephone-based customer service
• Managing and monitoring online customer orders
• Liaising with warehouse teams and couriers regarding deliveries
• Responding to customer queries and providing product information
• Developing strong product knowledge through ongoing training
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell additional products
• Preparing accurate customer quotations once fully trained
• Following up outstanding quotations and customer enquiries
• Keeping customer records, notes and quotation activity up to date
• Supporting the wider sales team with inbound and outbound customer calls
• Arranging product samples and carrying out product research where required
