Job summary

Anne Corder Recruitment is seeking a proactive Sales Advisor for a small, supportive office-based team near Duxford in Essex. You will start in customer service and order processing, then train to prepare quotations and estimates for an established customer base.

You will work closely with the Estimating Manager and sales team, handling enquiries, processing orders by phone and email, liaising with warehouse and couriers, and developing product knowledge to identify cross-sell opportunities as

• Experience in customer service, sales support or order processing.
• Ability to prepare quotations and estimates after training.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders received by telephone and email.
• Provide professional and helpful telephone-based customer service.
• Manage and monitor online customer orders.
• Liaise with warehouse teams and couriers regarding deliveries.
• Respond to customer queries and provide product information.
• Develop strong product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products.
• Prepare accurate customer quotations once fully trained.
• Follow up outstanding quotations and customer enquiries.
• Keep customer records, notes and quotation activity up to date.
• Support the wider sales team with inbound and outbound customer calls.
• Arrange product samples and carry out product research where required.
